Taylor 322e Es2 ground hum Video
« on: March 01, 2020, 07:47:43 AM »
Anyone else here who have had problem with ground hum with the Es 2 system?

I even had a tech look at it but he coudn´t fix it.

Using a fishman loudbox mini with a Baggs venue di, powered by an isolated voodoo labs power supply I get a ground hum that goes away when touching the Venue for instance.

If I change guitar to my Eastman with Baggs anthem and the exact same setup it´s dead quiet.

It´s not extremly loud. It´s workable but still annoying because I bought the guitar brand new and I expect it to perform well.

So here is a video of me plugging straight in to the fishman lodbox mini.
The volume turned out quite low but if you turn it up I think you should hear it quite well in the end. This is at low volume and might not seem as much of a problem. But turned up to live levels it sure can be a problem:
