Hello from Minnesota
« on: November 30, 2014, 08:35:05 PM »
Just found this group and signed up.  Been around most of the other lists off and on for many years.  Have been playing guitar for years, and have owned many Taylors. (As well as just about everything else.)  At present have a 320 and a brand new 150e.  My first Taylor was a 410 ca. 1991.  Sort of wish I kept it, but not as much as the 420K2 (all koa) that was probably the rarest Taylor I had and traded off.  Then again, both the present Taylors blow those out of the water in terms of playability.

Never considered myself too serious of a player, although am in a band at present playing traditional Scandinavian music.  Have used the 150e in two gigs so far and it will be in another gig in a week.  And I've had the guitar less than 7 days.

Well, happy to be around here and will eventually post more on the other parts of the forum.

Welcome to the forum Nordic Bee Eric.  It will be nice to have your knowledge on Taylors around here.  I think your right about the present day taylors being great players.

Thanks.  It was your description that made me search out the guitar.  Almost bought it first try, but hesitated.  Then had my wife listen and try to figure out if it would fit in with the sound of the band. Then was able to feel comfortable buying the guitar.  (Didn't hurt that I had a 15 percent coupon, too.)
