interesting, i find we all are quick to point out GA bc it's the most versatile shape, but i also experimented and fell in love with a GC shape and that's why i finally caved and did a BTO

i agree that limited and used are the best way to get value for the dollar

also, keep in mind that exotic woods and appointments don't mean they will sound good to YOU...classic example for me is the 2011 koa limited which is absolutely stunning, but never sounded good to me. i played one last year after it had a chance to open up and i don't like it

There is a lot of wisdom and experience on this forum, and I really appreciate the input.  It's going to take me a while to sift through all the info and get to actually trying them out.  I am building quite a list of guitars to try out.
