Thanks to those who have replied to me, based on those replies, it seems the new discount off MAP is consistent, just simply a different percentage from what it used to be on MSRP. I guess soon enough it will be common knowledge and instead of referring to the standard X% off MSRP in the future we will be referring to the standard Y% off MAP. Appreciate the help!

I thought MAP was "minimum advertised price" i.e., the lowest price that could appear in print.  I recently emailed a large Taylor dealer and they wouldn't (or couldn't) even quote me a price lower than MAP via email.  I had to call and then I got a price that was substantially lower than MAP.
