Hello guys,
It all started when I bought my first guitar (Taylor 310ce) 8 years ago. I had no clue what a good guitar was but figured if I was going to learn I wanted to get good sound and quality. Plus my other thought was if Dave Matthews uses Taylor's then is got to be good. I'm a bid DMB fan. I still have it to this day and in retro I'm glad I went that route.
So fast forward 4 years and I fell in love with another Taylor GA6e tobacco burst w/ a gorgeous 3 piece back. It's funny one day I went with a buddy to the local guitar store and he ended up buying a Taylor. The GA6 was the last one i picked up and from the first strum I knew it was mine and lucky me it was also on consignment...for a song.
Now after years of playing Taylor's I think I have found the sound Im looking for in either the 816ce (probably one of the nicest sounding guitars I've played) or a GS8e. I was pumped to find this site and I'm sure I will be turning this place inside and out looking for reviews and info on these models.
