Ahhh, and on that note... ;)

I can't wait for you!  From a fellow lover/owner of RTs, these are truly exceptional guitars that IMHO/IME evoke the finest craftsmanship and voicing I've ever laid eyes, hands, and ears on.  Truly the result of what your five best guys in the shop can do when allowed to "geek out" on every detail possible!
Oh, and remember to post your victory pics (as per bylaws Sec. 12, Subsection 7, paragraph 4).

BTW, welcome to the board ...and nice handle! :D

I didn't want to bump this topic in case you guys were expecting pics, but to answer some of the questions - it is a Style 1 (GS body) and the combination is... Dun dun dun... Treasure hunt and invisible e-prize for whoever gets it... Which dealer website has an R Taylor that has been sold recently?

 ;)

Congrates on your find. R Taylors are exceptional guitars. My 35th anniversary Cocobolo GS is built to the same standards, and actually still my favourite acoustic guitar I've ever plyed.

2009 Taylor 35th anniversary Cocobolo GS
2009 Taylor All Mahogany 8 string (modified from a 12 string).
2004 Taylor GA5
2006 Taylor T5 Koa
2010 Gibson 335 Custom
1995 Gibson J35 Ltd
2000 Gibson L5 CES Custom
