Greetings from Texas
« on: June 24, 2013, 01:48:19 AM »
New member....good to meet y'all.  Need to ask a question right off the bat.  I've got a 816ce.  I also have a Fender Cyber Twin(SE) that I use for my electrics.  I know an acoustic amp or a PA would be better with the Taylor, but will I harm the Taylor playing it through the Cyber Twin....no gigging.....just quietly in the house.  Thanks for your help.

Hi tgkeller. Welcome to the UTGF. Playing your 816ce through the Cyber Twin won't hurt a thing.  8)  Add some chorus to the clean channel..."quiet" won't be an option.  ;D

 Enjoy the site.

EMT - Thanks for the reassurance on the Cyber Twin (CT).  I did a faily good search of this forum as well as Googled it and couldn't find anyone who had played their Taylor through a CT.  I was concerned with the fragile looking IC card inside the body of the Taylor (a part of the Expression System (?)).  However, now I'm going to go ahead and plug in --- I enjoy that sound occasionally :D

TaylorGirl - Thanks for the warm welcome.
