Luthier Boaz Elkayam came to visit us from Israel and brought his personal instrument, an Oud inspired design with a fretless bass fingerboard. Amazing sound!

Guess you've got to go fretless to get those quarter tones. Love middle eastern music. Quarter tone blues anyone?
