Trouble accessing Taylor website...

Anyone else having problems logging onto the www.taylorguitars.com?

Actually got,
Safari can’t open the page “https://www.taylorguitars.com/” because Safari can’t establish a secure connection to the server “www.taylorguitars.com”.

Been able to get on before. This is new. Permanent or temporary, don't know.

Yes, I'm using a Mac at the moment.

Now using a pc at the library. No problem connecting to taylor site.

Thanks...it must be something going on with my computer...I have deleted cookies, history, restarted my computer, and I still can't access the site. I get this message:

Secure Connection Failed

The connection to www.taylorguitars.com was interrupted while the page was loading.

    The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
    Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

So using the library PC worked, but I just tried it again on this Macbook Pro.
Still didn't work.

Got the same no secure connection message as I did before. I was on the site recently, say within a week, so this is a new development.

Are you using a Mac also?

Possibilities are Taylor changed their website and no longer supports Mac. Explorer usually doesn't enforce much of anything no matter what.
Or they changed and didn't upgrade their security code.
Or their security code lapsed.

There is a name for the secure connection code, but I can't remember it off the top of my head.

Please post if you find out anything about this.

Interesting Donlyn...I am using a PC and haven't had time to work on the issue. I believe this has happened to me before on other sites but corrected itself with a restart...hmmm...

I couldn't get on the taylor site, but i did send a reply to "insider@taylorguitars.com". That's the return address they use on their infomercials. Don't know if it will get to anyone, but best I could do from here.

I have been able to access their site all afternoon ( ..boss gave me a day off finally..) and haven't had a problem. I was able to chat with a tech while on and access all the pages I tried to open. Hope you can get it straightened out.

I just disabled my antivirus and that fixed the problem. I then enabled the antivirus and everything works fine...

OK, so based on the last message, they made changes to the website using bad programmers and without testing whether it works correctly. And now you have to contact their tech people or re-boot your computer because they screwed up? What's wrong with this picture?

Hey Bob, time to get your virtual house in order. I shouldn't have to jump through virtual hoops just to view your website.

edit> fletchpic, just thinking maybe because you had to disable the anti-virus, the problem may lie in the authenticity of the data security certification thing. Maybe the anti-virus was doing it's job until you turned it off?

No problem using an app laptop thru google and they still don't have the barstool instock. I wonder if Taylor is no longer producing these. As matter of fact the website loaded pretty quick.
