New 2015 900 series
« on: October 11, 2015, 09:58:54 AM »
PegHead, my local guitar shop here in Dallas just received a couple of the new redesigned 900 series and they are simply outstanding.  I've had many high end Taylors over the years but these guitars are a world apart.  Fit, finish, action, projection, sustain, tone, features - it's all there.  The 912 CE (14 fret short scale) was my favorite.  If you are even remotely thinking about a new addition to your lineup, I would strongly suggest you look at these before you make a final decision.

I had a chance to play a new 914ce at Empire Music a few weeks ago.  I was rather taken with the new aesthetics, and did find the tone superior to the new 814ce.  Not sure why that was (I'd presumed the new 900-Series was nothing more than a dressed-up 800-Series), but that was my take.
