If I were named the Head Dude What's In Charge, the first thing I would do would be to put a gloss finish on every guitar coming out of El Cajon.

Some of the most beautiful Taylors I've seen were some limited edition 400 Series about 12 or 14 years ago. Ovangkol and gloss made for one gorgeous combination.

There's no reason not to do it, really.

I agree...I either like full satin finish or full gloss, but mostly full glosss...Having a just a gloss top seems "incomplete" to me.

Drop the black pickguards, Non ES and CE models available again, better quality gigbags, cedar tops optional in the 300 series and up, redesign the end pin on the ES to accept straplocks. Bring back the road shows that have a qualified tech to do restrings, adjustments and resets for a nominal fee.

I would start with making the CD Sounds Of Wood & Steel Vol. 4! I love vol. 1-3 and am still waiting for vol. 4. It is 12 years ago since vol. 3 came out.
