« on: July 07, 2016, 03:52:18 PM »
I noticed in the summer W&S, Taylor will now add ES2 or upgrade to ES2 on any steel string Taylor model.....I was going to call them for a price but the service is shut down for holiday break.....anyone know about what it would cost me to upgrade my 2012 810e Proto from ES1 to ES2? thanks.....service not open til Mon 7/11...

I do know.  I had it done a few months ago, however, forum rules disallow me from posting the price.  I am allowed to say that it was fairly inexpensive and worth every penny.  They also took care of a few things on the finish under warranty, and they did additional service including fretwork at a discount because I was purchasing the upgrade.  The guitar came back in new condition.
Aloha!

You might want to send him a private message with the cost of the upgrade.
