After lurking around here forever it finally occurred to me that I never posted details of my NGD back in May!
May marked my 30th birthday, and as a present to myself (with contributions from lovely family!) I decided on a 324ce Shaded Edgeburst.
Admission time....originally, as a big John Mayer fan, I had my heart set on a Martin, but after going out locally and playing a couple that were in my price range, I was not impressed. Perhaps I played a couple of poor examples, but nothing felt as good as the Taylor 324 that I played.
Once I saw the Shaded Edgeburst, there was no way back...nowhere locally sold it but I found one a couple of hundred miles away and took the plunge, after the dealer accepted an offer some 25% below the advertised price.
I couldn't be more thrilled with it, and that's even with my absolute basic level of ability. I've certainly got an instrument I can grow into as the years go on, and I'm really happy with my decision to end up in Taylor land
