I hope I won't be kicked off the forum, but I said that about my 2011 GS8e and I sold it. The 1 3/4 nut width just killed my hand.

I then bought a Martin OMJM, but then after awhile said that I would sell it...but Martin doesn't offer many Engelmann Spruce tops...so just recently I decided to keep it.

About 6-7 months ago I added a Taylor 324 (Tas blackwood, and Hog top)...this one is a keeper for life.

I'm pretty content right now with my Taylor and Martin.  At some point if finances allow, I'd love to buy a BTO.  Don't feel bad for me, but if I were to have plugged all the money and time that I have plugged into the forum, I'd be pretty darn close to my dream Taylor  ;D ::)

aww man that does make me feel bad. ill donate again soon

Just wondering : did you order a 324 with 1 11/16 inch nut width  ?

OK, Marco,
You are forgiven ...but only because that guitar is worth it :D :D :D

Wow, I didn't even know they made a PS in 12!  And the coco plus armrest take it over the top!!  I totally understand your joy as I am blessed with "lifer" guitars that I hope to pass to my kids when I'm "done" here.  May you enjoy it for a very loong time in the best of health!  :)

Sure did!  I have smaller hands so a 1 11/16th is a must for me.  I was kind of afraid that it might not sound as good as the one I actually demoed, but thanks to Taylor's consistency, it sounded Exactly like the one I tried.

When you live under a pretty strict one in/out regime, you can't really have the "keeper" mentality come into it.  I only have six guitars, but of those three are essentially worthless (two of those have tremendous sentimental value, one is a beater electric that I have modified and continue tinkering with) and one is a valuable heirloom electric that I never play.  That leaves me with my two "playing" acoustic instruments.  I love them both, but I could see selling them if I knew it was going to net me something "better."  And there's always something better.
