Revoiced 614ce FE at Guitar Center

i've checked some of the dealers i would normally buy from, and none of them have this model yet.
is it limited to GC?  or are they simply getting them first down the pipeline?
anyone know?

Taylor has said nothing publicly about this, so no clue. They haven't even talked about this model publicly, just stuck it on their website recently. What we can observe, so far, is that only GC has had them.

even though there seemed to be no real release 'fanfare' with the 516e bearclaw GC/MF exclusives
(yes, it is an armrest, as shown on the Custom options sheet & not a bevel, as other builders may call it) &
914ce cocobolo LTDs that were limited to 50, but were made available to other dealers (indy) as well -
i'm hoping that 610e (deep body, please), 612ce 12 fret, 616ce & 618e FE models will follow &
that their availability will not be limited exclusively to the big box GuiTargMart stores

nothing against them, but given a choice i'd rather support a dealer that's been representing
the Taylor brand since the pre-era (pre-CNC, pre UV, pre NT neck, pre Standard II bracing)
which were  more responsible for finding & building a customer base, when the rules were different

I inquired about the 614ceFE at Wildwood Guitars and was told they expect them in early January. Maybe the First Editions are available exclusively at GC and MF for only a few months with more dealers getting stock early next year.
