that’s awesome! my friend loves the 811 but i refuse to play one bc i don’t want to buy anymore guitars
i made a lot of progress in my guitar journey using tony polecastro’s course - tony’s acoustic challenge. he’s super organized and he makes learning fun!
I actually saw many of your comments on the previous GT posts, seemed some people were really adamant that the GT was not worthy without actually playing one. Thanks for the tip on Tony's videos, I was actually considering joining Paul Davids'. I have more choices now.
Great collection.
Beautiful collection!
+1 to everything FrettingFlyer stated.
Thanks so much
That 811 is a real looker! Love the size, shape, and appointments all tied into one. Congrats!
Awesome new Taylor and stable of guitars! The 811e is a real beauty, with its woods and appointments. You are right, all that matters is you and your choices. Enjoy your yourself.
I totally agreed with both of you. The 800 really strikes the balance in terms of appointments for me.
Congratulations. I think you’re going to absolutely love that little guitar. I had a chance to play an 811 and an urban ash two days ago, and I really loved them both.
I also did try them and like them both. I went with the 811 just because I want some Rosewood in the house, never had one.
Beautiful guitar! I've always had a soft spot for small rosewood guitars. Rosewood really shines with a small body IMO. Remember that those guitars were made to be played. I hope you enjoy playing as much if not more than the acquisition. God bless!
Thanks, I agree with you on Rosewood with small body. I think it projects sound very well. And yes I am enjoying very much. (Though, I can't seem to stop looking for new guitars.)
That is one good looking family of guitars there. The only thing you should do is play as much as you enjoy, and enjoy having such a great group of guitars to choose from. If you had to audition with skill to qualify for a good guitar, many of us would have to change hobby’s. I know my playing improved after I had instruments that motivated me to want to play more by rewarding my efforts with wonderful sounds.
Thanks so much for your kind words. I am definitely taking your advice.
