I'll play.

I've always loved Italian cars. I think I first fell in love with a Ferrari 250 LM back in 1964, reading Car Life magazine.  When I got older I had a couple of FIAT 124 Spyders, beautiful Pininfarina bodies. And then finally I realized that a certain car brand had become affordable, and I bought this:

I called this my family car because it had a small back seat and I could carry my two sons!

Very nice, Sachi! I can see this is a Ferrari convertible - just wondering what model  and model year?

It's a 1987 Mondial 3.2 Quatrovalvole, based roughly on the contemporary 328.

The wife and I recently sold both our Vettes but I will always be a car JUNKIE!!!  Enthusiast is too light of description for me!!  Going to get a Grand Sport convertible as soon as the C7 Vette comes out and the C6 prices drop some!!

just got the latest issue of Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords -
Grabber Blue 2013 Shelby GT500 on the cover
5.8L DOHC 4V, Ford GT cams, 9.0:1 comp with 2.3L 4 lobe 160 degree twist TVS supercharger
650 hp & 600 lb ft tq spinning a carbon fiber driveshaft, Torsen diff & stopped with Brembos -
launch control/2-step & a display that has Track apps (dragstrip tree, g-meter & braking distance)

can't wait to see what evo & lethal performance does when they get their hands on one :D

lethal's 9 second 2010 GT500

it was possible to get a 07 GT500 5.4 to over 800rwhp quite easily,
so a '13 pushing through the 1000rwhp level shouldn't be too tough ;)

evo put their gt up for sale last july - don't know if it sold ...  kona blue metallic :o

They were Potenza tires and the exhaust was B&B Bullets.  It was a heads/cam/Intake/Longtube headers/full exhaust/cold air intake/custom tune car and was putting down a LOT of hp to the wheels!!  It was way too much fun, especially on roads like the Tail of the Dragon.  It was also extremely loud and the wife hated it.  I drove it over 1000 miles on the Hot Rod Power Tour last year in June and didn't have it out the garage anymore and finally decided in October to sell it.  We will probably get a Grand Sport convertible next year.

:o

i'll bet the power tour was a blast ... how many days to cover 1000 mi ???

just wondering if the tune was done on a dyno & if the gains were around
130 hp & 80 ft lb tq at the wheels or, did it turn the wick up a bit more ???
i imagine it'd be into the N/A Z06 range ... & then some :D

if it sounded like this, i'd say 'yep... that's pretty healthy' ;)  8)
(the wheels don't start rolling until 0:52)

We did 3 1/2 days on the PowerTour and it was so much fun!! Wanted to longhaul it but situations wouldn't allow it.  It had an HP tuning tune on it and I estimated about 410 to the wheels.

Here is a crappy video of the idle I shot on my phone:
