I am taking a poll to see what neck carve is the most popular when building a custom Taylor.

What about the "V"? Anyway, I have had both standard and slim carve and I liked them both. The T5 would fit between the two but I've never owned a Taylor with that neck or played one that wasn't on a 1 & 11/16" nut T5 electric. I'd probably opt for the slim carve but I would love to sample the V carve and the T5 carve (with a 1 & 3/4" nut width) somehow before making a final decision. No matter what neck profile I choose, the more important thing to me is that it will be 24 & 7/8" scale length.

I did a 'V' on my '02 814c Coco/Sitka "TaylorStock" custom. It has a nice feel to it - deeper than the standard Taylor neck, but not quite as hefty as the classic Martin "Baseball Bat" neck. I find it very comfortable...
