New truss rod cover.
« on: April 05, 2013, 09:15:47 PM »
Thought I would share my new Cocobolo truss rod cover.  This is not the best picture the lighting was not right. I will update it later when the lighting is good, and perhaps post some other pictures as well.

Boy it would be amazing if I made that.  It came from Petros guitars.  He sells lots of neat stuff on Ebay.  Cool getting a truss rod for my BTO from a 15k+ dollar guitar.

Way cool!! That is a really sharp looking guit with the cocobolo & Koa binding. Love the tuner buttons as well.

How would you compare the short scale on your GS vs standard scale on your GA? Presume your using medium gauge strings on the GS?

Thanks

Huge fan of short scale GS with medium strings.  A hair less tension but not much of a difference there.  The huge thing is the ease of navigating the fingerboard due to the slightly closer frets.  Remember Taylor short scale is 24.9 vs 25.5 for standard scale which is not a giant difference.
