Hello, I'm new to this forum and new to the Taylor "family".  As an owner of Martin and Takamine, I wanted to have a Taylor and took the opportunity to own a 718e 1st Edition.  I just got it last week, #96/100.  It is a special instrument that my skills (I'm really a drummer) clearly don't deserve.  I clearly don't deserve my wife either, who allows (supports?) my rather expensive passion, and ever present GAS attacks.

Sounds like you have (first and foremost) a very special wife!  I, too, have a VERY supportive spouse.  We are lucky, indeed.
Congratulations on your new 718e FE.  With your new Taylor and your Martin and Takamine, you have quite a nice stable of guitars.
