I love the truss rod cover and the bridge pins! Are those Bob Colosi bridge pins btw?

Thanks.

Yes those are Mr. Colosi's dyed bone pin's.  I like the dyed bone pins a lot.

Me too - I got a set of dyed bone bridge pins for my 2013 FLTD as well. I also replaced the gold buttons with Madagascar rosewood buttons. They're beautiful guitars aren't they?
My Taylor Grand Auditoriums:

2018 Custom GA - bear claw sitka spruce/mahogany

2020 714 - lutz spruce/rosewood

How do the Maddie buttons from LMII match up?  I was considering those as well.  I wish they still had the Madagascar Ebony, it matches well with fretboards.

Judge for yourself - I think that they'd look great against your headstock:

Other than cosmetics, are there any noticeable tonal differences when replacing the bridge pins with bone? I am thinking of getting one for my Koa GC BTO. Thanks!

In my experience, the harder or more dense the bridge pin material, the more presence in the tone. Ebony is good, buffalo horn is better, and bone seems best to my ear. Many will disagree and say that bridge pins have little influence over sound. I personally can hear the difference.

They are well worth the upgrade.  Tone differences vary based on perception.  Personally I upgrade because it is a better material that looks nice.

I noticed you named your new baby "Grace". I like that ! I named my FLTD "Maya".
