Tobacco Burst Taylor Anniversary 614ce, love those inlays
« on: August 14, 2014, 09:56:22 AM »
It's a 30th Anniversary model not a 40th,  It's seems 2004 was a very good year for lots of suprises from Taylor Guitars I was seeking one of these in just this Tobacco burst. I could not resist one came up at the right time.
I had a couple of 04 Fall 614ce L7s ,  615ceL7 and still have a couple 04 Fall 900 L7s . In 2001 a 614ce Fall Ltd in Tobacco, But this 2004 is the one. Forward shifted X-Bracing and now 10 years play time It has it all.

I think these Fall Autumn Leaf inlays are one of my favorite's, Taylor did a custom for George Straight with a similar Long Horn design.
 My new Cowboy Git.

I don't generally go for the burst finishes, preferring the wood au naturale...  But all the elements on that one really work together nicely!  Great find!

Not a huge fan of bursts, either, but this is one really good-looking guit!

The 30th-Annis had very nice appointments, IMHO.  I used to own a 410 30th and it was a beautifully-appointed guitar!  Enjoy this one!  :)

I don't think I've ever seen a 30th 600 series guitar before.  Wow(!), thanks for sharing!
