My brother (who lives in Lexington where Willcutt is located) and I are addicted to Bob Willcutt's setup skills over multiple guitars since the 1970s. If your NG isn't to your liking, he'll make it so it is ...
Huh! Small world! I recently spent four years (2009-2013) in Lexington, KY working a job site there. And now I'm going to be heading back for another year starting in a couple of weeks...
I only had one chance to visit Willcutt. They've got an odd shop -- it looks like an old house that's been stuffed full of guitars. But the folks there are very nice and helpful.
I was specifically there to look at (ironically, given the thread) an all-Koa T5 that he had; apparently it was one of only a handful made (15 seems to be the number that I remember being told). It was a beautiful T5, but we couldn't get together on the price, so I passed on it.
