GS Mini History
« on: January 02, 2015, 02:09:14 AM »
I'm amazed how many permutations of the GS Minis have been released.
Does anyone here know when they were released or if there's a page profiling the order in which they were released?
Here's my attempt at listing it:

Hi Ofey,
I believe the original was released in the 3rd quarter of 2010? I bought mine in September or October when a factory rep came to NH with the first ones that came near me. It has been just what the doctor ordered for me and my traveling lifestyle. I have added a couple more to the collection but may have to pare it down to 2 eventually(don't want to take the HV or Koa thru customs so the original will stay for international trips).
Wood and Steel had an article on the first Mini and probably a blurb on each subsequent model. It can be tough looking there though, too many pictures and articles to reread!
Good luck,
Dave

Yup, 2010. According to the latest W&S... the mini was a smashing success and to date their approaching 100,000 models produced. In case anyone else is interested, 2014 marked the 30th anniversary of the Grand Concert body style and the 20 annv. of the GA body. Tho it would be neat to get a 2010 GSM just like frettingflyer has. I'd hang to that, might worth a lot of money one day. Might be right up with a Martin D28. ;D
