Hey there,

My name is Jim, as you probably guessed from my user name, and I started playing guitar around '73 or so. I mostly play electric, and bass, and am a mod on Jemsite.com/forum if any of you ever get to hanging around over there.

I am looking at getting a full sized Taylor in the very near future, and have had a Baby for a few years now.

That's pretty much it :) lol

 Hi Jim. Welcome to the UTGF. I'm guessing those electrics you own probably have an Ibanez logo on the headstock. Good luck with your Taylor search.

Welcome Jim. I also started in 1973, but I'm strictly acoustic. You'll find a lot of useful information here to help you with your purchase.

I do indeed have a lot of Ibanez guitars, with a Hamer and PRS thrown in just because :) i was looking at 416ce's and 616ce's, but I just found a '99 914c and I am on the fence as to whether or not I want to grab that and worry about mic'ing it later should I need to do that. Plus, it is pretty blingy, but when you have Jems in the stable I suppose that's not really a sticking point lol
