NGD 814ce DLX Adirondack top

Thanks to Eric from Taylor Guitars, I picked up an amazing 814ce DLX with Adirondack top this weekend. Awesome instrument. I will put a link to a recording on the "recordings" page.

Beautiful!!! Proud owner of a 2017 Taylor 814CE myself but it's not a deluxe model.

Totally love the natural looks of these guitars and sound they produce is just so pleasing.

I had a luthier made OM with Adirondack top. It had the darker wide grain striations I see in this one. Somebody told me on another forum that attribute causes the incredible sustain Adirondack is known for. That's a gorgeous instrument! Also, the ebony fretboard on my OM had a brown streak in it like this one. The luthier cut the ebony so the streak ran dead center on the length of the fretboard. He was afraid I'd be opposed to it but I thought it was beautiful as yours is.

Thanks everyone for the comments about the guitar (and the yard). I have been playing this one a lot since I got it. I also look at the forum almost every day to see if anyone has posted NGD pics. There have been tons of beautiful Taylors shared on this forum -- always fun!

Eric (Taylor sales rep) brought it with him to my local shop for a "Find Your Fit" event. Adirondack top is listed as an option on the Taylor website. I'm glad you're enjoying yours so much; I really like mine.
