I've got tats on both biceps. My first, an eagle, was done at Lou's Tattoos (Hay St., Fayetteville, NC) in 1982. Since then, Hay St. has become civilized. No more strip clubs and tattoo parlors. Five years ago, I had the eagle covered up with a 9/11 tribute tattoo. It's a firefighter thing. I've got the twin towers, crossed American flags, an awesome eagle, and "343 Heroes" inscribed on a helmet shield. The bottom banner states, "Gone but Not Forgotten". I didn't like having to sit for 2 different sessions, but it was worth it. Gotta give Chris Shackleford a "shout out" for basically doing my tat for free.
On my left bicep there's a dragon that I had done in 1985 at Sailor Jack's. There's no story about the dragon. I just liked it.
I saw a punk rock guy on the metro in Madrid, Spain. He had a dotted lines tattooed across the front of his neck. Like this:
- - - - - - - - - -
It said, "Cut Here".
