Our weather here in Pennsylvania has been quite unusual this winter...warmer than average and only one big storm (a mere 4"-5" ::)) and a couple where the ground was covered with a coating of snow and/or ice. I've been enjoying it especially since we had 2 Decembers in a row that had blizzards. Even had at least 6 robins show up back in January! :)

February 20th in Chicago -- Sunny, high of 43.  Chance of rain tonight.  As I write this, southern states (KY, TN, VA, etc) are getting whacked with 9 inches of heavy, wet snow.

Peach tree.Does that tell you anything? ;)

Butterfly loves it.

We've had maybe 5 days below freezing in the early morning hours. The bugs are gonna be awful in the woods. Ticks, red-bugs,etc.

Washington DC - 44 degrees and overcast - big burst of flurries about 5 minutes ago.  Since we have not had much snow this year it was nice to see some snow.....and nice that's it's not the 8+ inches they got just south of us today..... :D

This morning in Baton Rouge we were at 45 with the high today of 75.  The weather is expected to be the same all week.  Beautiful weather for playing golf and working in the yard...

I think this post is in very poor taste... most of you people are smiling in the sun and enjoying it all.. I on the other hand am sitting here looking as a foot of snow or so and cold weather most of the time for the past few weeks.. like -10 to -18 C at nite..

anyway just kidding. fun to see the different weather in different regions...
You know, I thought about that. At various times, each of us will have weather that is absolutely dreadful, totally perfect or somewhere in between. With all the tornadoes recently, my heart goes out to those whose lives have been affected.

Here's what it is like here today and tomorrow:
    • Wednesday - overcast, with a high of 71 F, Wind ESE at 5-10 mph, 10% chance of rain, Humidity 65%, UV Index Moderate, Visibility 10 miles
      • Thursday - Partly cloudy, with a high of 77 F, Wind SE at 5 mph, 20% chance of rain, Humidity 69%, UV Index High, Visibility 10 miles

This thread may prove to be quite interesting over the next 24 hours or so because of a solar storm and its effects on our weather.
